Mazda Tribute comes with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that puts out 171 horsepower and 171 foot-pounds of torque. A five-speed manual transmission is standard, with a six-speed automatic available too. The optional engine is a 3.0-liter V-6 producing 300 horsepower, which only comes with the six-speed automatic.

Tribute Hybrid model is fitted with a specially tuned version of the 2.5-liter four, mated to an electronically continuously variable transmission (eCVT) containing two electric motors that both power the car and recharge the battery pack, which sits by the rear axle. All Tribute models, including the hybrid, can be specified with either front-wheel drive or four-wheel drive.

The major specs are:

* 155 hp
* 2.3-liter I-4 Atkinson cycle engine, 153hp @ 5800rpm & electric motor 94hp @ 5000rpm
* 62 liters fuel capacity.
* 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, Electronic Brake Force Distribution
* Electronic power steering - rack-and-pinion arrangement with power assist tehnology
* 16x7 aluminum alloy wheels with 235/70R16 all season T-rated tires

Mazda Tribute has a handsome and blocky dashboard, with piano-black plastic trim and a chunky steering wheel. Five adults can sit comfortably in the Tribute and it's perfect for the family trip. The driver's seat is in an elevated position so that the driver has ample visibility all the way around. This is one of the things that driver's are raving about because they are discovering they can see the road better and still be extremely comfortable. This visibility factor is especially good when the weather is inclement with snow and rain. This is also a big factor safety advocates like as well. Everyone will be comfortable during long drives thanks to the spacious inside and little storage compartments that hold a variety of things. More information you can see in www.mazdausa.com.
